What to expect
Throughout this 9-week subject, students will interact with 6 modules. This subject aims to develop practical sales skills and customer insight, preparing students to deliver exceptional service and results in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
During the subject, students will:
- Explore the psychology of consumer behaviour and what drives purchasing decisions
- Learn a structured sales process from introduction to close
- Practice building rapport, personalising recommendations, and handling objections
- Develop confidence in delivering persuasive and customer-focused communication
- Apply techniques that foster long-term relationships and customer loyalty
- Strengthen collaboration, communication, and professionalism aligned with industry best practice.

Each subject runs over 9 weeks, designed to help you stay focused and make steady progress.
You’ll take part in:

Across the term, you’ll explore six themed modules (one per week) and complete three assessments that help you apply what you’ve learned in realistic industry scenarios.

Assessment
You’ll complete three practical assessments designed to help you apply what you’ve learned in realistic industry scenarios — with no exams.
Assessments are spread across weeks 3, 6, and 9, and will include tasks such as online quizzes, reflective essays, role plays, presentations or similar that mirror real workplace skills.
