Throughout this 9-week subject, students will engage with 6 modules. The subject aims to enhance students' understanding and knowledge to discover what it’s really like to work in one of the world’s most dynamic industries - aviation.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this subject, you’ll be able to:
- Explain aviation safety and security fundamentals, emergency procedures, and airline operations.
- Apply customer service skills to enhance the passenger experience and ensure professional interactions.
- Demonstrate effective and professional verbal and non-verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Exhibit professional presentation standards required in the airline industry, including grooming and demeanor.

Study Mode & Structure
This subject runs over 9 weeks and includes:
- 3.3 hours per week of facilitated study (live classes, tutorials, Q&A sessions)
- 7-10 hours per week of independent study (pre-readings, videos, assessments)

Assessment
You’ll complete three assessments designed to help you apply your learning in realistic industry scenarios. Assessments take place in weeks 3,6 & 9.
