Enrolment Process

Ready to enrol? It’s easy! Take a read through the entry requirements which are designed to ensure you have the passion, commitment and skills needed to succeed in a course with Flight Centre Travel Academy and go on to achieve your career goals.

General Entry Requirements

Year 12 or equivalent is all you need to meet the requirement for entry, however there are alternative criteria that you could meet if you can’t have this.

Special Entry Requirements

For special entry, you can demonstrate your ability to study at the required level through any combination of:

  • broadly relevant work experience (you can document and submit this as a CV), demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success; OR
  • formal, informal or non-formal study, completed or partially completed, demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success; OR
  • written submission to demonstrate a reasonable prospect of success
  • your student and/or ATAR profile.

English Language Requirements

You may be required to complete an English language test and submit your result as proof of your level of English proficiency. The English test result that is accepted by Flight Centre Travel Academy is an IELTS 5.5 (Academic) with no skills band less than 5.0.

Flight Centre Travel Academy also has the following admission requirements;

  • You’ll need to show a passion for travel 
  • Be committed to completing the course
  • Have the ability to self manage study requirements to meet required deadlines

How can I enrol to Flight Centre Travel Academy?

There are six steps to your enrolment process.

1. Phone conversation with an Enrolment Consultant 

During this conversation we will discuss your career and study goals and provide you with answers to any questions you have regarding your future study. 

2. Course Suitability Discussion

Once we have discussed your expectations, we will run through some extra questions to ensure the course is suitable to you.  

3. Online Enrolment 

Your online enrolment will be completed via the Torrens University Australia online portal - you’ll be provided a special link to complete your online enrolment once Step 3 has been completed successfully. At this point all supporting documentation will be collected for processing.

4. FEE-HELP Application 

Once your online enrolment is complete, you will receive a Letter of Offer. At this stage you can complete your online FEE-Help application if you are choosing to fund your studies through this government assistance service.

5. Confirmation and Blackboard Access 

Your enrolment confirmation and welcome email will be sent to you and you’ll be granted access to Blackboard - the web-based learning management system that we use for providing your online study components.
