"I can't praise the team at Flight Centre Travel Academy enough. They all went above and beyond in helping me on my journey to landing my dream job as a travel consultant, and I would recommend them to anybody who loves to travel as much as I do!

In June this year I was searching for a fulfilling career; one where I could make a positive difference in people's lives and pursue my passion for travel.  It was my mum who suggested I could become a travel agent.

I began looking around on the web for information on how to become a travel agent, as well as institutes that offered qualifications in travel and tourism.

That's when I found Flight Centre Travel Academy. I quickly called their office and spoke to Chanel who made it really easy for me to enrol over the phone and find a payment plan that suited me.

My first day at the Academy was amazing; Darryl took me for Term 1 and he is not only an amazing trainer, but he also makes one hell of a cupcake! Like all the staff, Darryl has experience in the field as a travel agent himself, so he had heaps of advice and fun travel stories to share.

He got us excited about becoming consultants ourselves and made sure to emphasise the important point of ALWAYS providing high quality customer service.

Anna was my trainer for Terms 2 and 3, and is an extremely positive and supportive person. Anna never said "if" you became a travel agent – it was always "when". She saw potential in all of us and managed to get us through the dreaded accounts section of the course!

I made some great friendships in all of my classes at the Academy. I've spoken to some of my friends who are already working for Flight Centre, and we all agreed we wouldn't have gotten there if it hadn't been for the work of Jennifer Duncan at the Travel Academy.

After every term, Jennifer would come to our class and talk to us about our options and where we could go from here. It was nice to know you had support not only during the course, but after you had finished as well.

Jennifer was the one who called me about the interview for the job, then again to ask me if I wanted any help preparing for the interview, then again after the interview to ask how it all went and if I had any follow up questions.

When I received the call this week offering me the job at Flight Centre's Twenty47, the third person I called (after my boyfriend and my parents), was Jennifer!"
