Making the most of every opportunity in the Whitsundays!

Morgan was one of the first students who enrolled in our Work, Study + Play program at Daydream Island Resort, combining study of our Diploma of Travel & Tourism, with a part-time job at the Resort.

Hear from Morgan on how she is enjoying working, studying and playing in the Whitsundays!

I wanted to study with Flight Centre Travel Academy (FCTA) because I knew I didn't want to do a Bachelor Degree straight away, and liked the flexibility of the Diploma and the fact that it was automatically going to be industry related.

So far, my favourite part of the course is all the different people we are getting to know, all the teachers and facilitators in the Travel Academy bring such a variety of experience and expertise into the classes.

Finding a balance between work, study and play has been an important priority for me since moving to the Whitsundays. It hasn’t been easy because I have been picking up extra shifts, so I have made sure that I study one day a week and still leave one day a week to make the most of the incredible place that I live in, whether it be jet skiing, a trip out to the reef or even ocean rafting.

My advice to future students is to make the most of every opportunity!
